Maria McIndoo is a writer and director based in New York. She is currently working with the writing staff of CBS’ Instinct, starring Alan Cumming.

After graduating from the University of St. Andrews, McIndoo pursued her passion for television and film by working on various projects, including HBO’s The Normal Heart and Sony’s Ricki and the Flash. Shortly after, McIndoo worked with Executive Producer Michael Rauch on USA’s Royal Pains.

At 22, McIndoo wrote, directed, and produced her debut feature film, Say It Like It Is. Her more recent work includes directing the festival hit Etymology, the pilot for Young Widows, and the upcoming short Mind Games. Maria is also developing multiple projects with actor and writer Jo Hartley.
